Our School
 
  • Emerson Elementary School is an intermediate school housing grades 3 - 6. 
  • We are a sister school to Central Primary, grades K-2, whose students transition to Emerson in third grade.

Parent Involvement

  • Parents and community members are always welcome at our school.
  • Emerson has a very supportive group of parents.
  • Emerson has an active and supportive PTA which supports school field trips, assemblies, and funding of technology.

Student Program

  • Emerson staff facilitates learning in a comprehensive basic academic program.
  • Students receive weekly enrichment activities through instruction in library media skills weekly and twice weekly instruction in music and physical education. 
  • Emerson offers an academically capable class for students in grades 4-5-6.
  • Title/LAP program services are available for students who need additional help in math and reading.
  • Students on an Individualized Education Plan receive resource services. 
  • Services are available for students with speech, language, vision, hearing, and physical/occupational disabilities, and for students with counseling needs.
  •  Band is offered for sixth grade students.
